That's a new one on me. Do not have that app on my S7 edge (AT&T unfortunately). If it is included, it is very well hidden on my phone.
Possibly could be bloatware from your carrier. Nevertheless the built-in Samsung battery app in Settings is the one I would rely on. As I said in my earlier post it is possible that that app providing the notification is not updating the notification. Just a guess.
