Notification to "Upgrade"

I have a first generation Moto-G (NOT rooted). Ever since Lollipop was released I've been getting the notifications to upgrade. I don't want to upgrade, so I tap "No Thanks". No big deal to do that a dozen times a day I guess.
Here's the real problem: The sliding animation thing that happens...
