I don't think anyone disagrees that phones emit electomagnetic radiation and with the proper device that can be detected.
As far as health effects, I recall some respectable organizations warning it would be wise to avoid small children putting phones next to their face for long periods of time (because small children are more sensitive to radiation).
That said, I agree with Hadron and AZgl500, the video seems like a fake. I have a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering, I can't imagine what would cause that pattern. As mentioned, the speed of electromagnetic waves is on the order of 3x10^8 m/sec... not a slow wave shown there. Also the very high frequency used tends not too interact very little with materials
Without a doubt, the explanation the caption the explanation in the video is incorrect "We are using 60 Elsa Magna Doodle to detect the electromagnetic wave of the incoming call on our smartphone." The intensity of the incoming signal is not any higher in vicinity of the smartphone than anywhere else... no reason it would appear to be emanating from the smartphone.
I also have a hard time figuring out how one would go about producing the particular visual effect in the video. Then I notice even though the accountname of the poster of the video "viralvideolabs". That rather sounds like someone that spends time trying to create special effects that will catch our attention.
