This is highly unusual. Memory management on your phone is generally excellent. In fact too much unused memory is wasted memory. You could have an app with a massive memory leak or alternatively you are using some of the scumware that claim to boost battery life and battery speed. These apps can easily do more damage than good.
Try clearing system cache. Best of luck
